In a pot: Warm the sauerkraut in a cooking pot for 2 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Add some water as needed.
In the microwave: Fill the sauerkraut in a microwave-safe dish, stir well, spread evenly and cover. Heat up for a maximum of 2 minutes at 600 Watts.
Suggestion: Enjoy sauerkraut with meat dishes such as pork roasts, grilled sausages (e.g. Rostbratwurst) and smoked pork chops or vegetarian dishes such as Schupfnudeln.
Keep refrigerated after opening.
